Carrie, those Krispy Kremes look like fat on a stick! Actually I really went down 2 sizes because I couldn't even fit into a 16 a few weeks ago. Woohoo!

Lol
Fat on a stick! hahaha...I hope they go out of business. I know they were having some financial problems. They closed the plant in the city next to me. One down, thousands to go!! Have you seen the ads about, "You are what you eat?" I like the girl with 2 Cinnimon Rolls for a butt. It's so funny, but sadly true. I try to picture me with a large pizza stuck to mine and 2 BK Whoppers with cheese for a chest. Ewww... Suddenly the urge goes away...
What songs were you looking for? I was thinking, if you want any I have, I can email them to you. The difference between a good workout and a great workout is a playlist. The mood of the songs dictates everything.
Let me know!

They seem to just keep opening more and more of them here. Texans love their sweet buns! Do I need an iPod to download the songs, or can I just burn them on a disk? I was of course looking for the biggest loser songs, and anything else to get my booty moving on the treadmill! I listen to just about everything, love rock.

I am not sure about the Ipod needed part. I cant see why they are necessary. But you do need to download the ITunes Software. I do have both Biggest Loser Songs on my pc if you want them..Dunkin Dounuts is getting bigger than Starbucks back east where I am originally from. And people wonder why America is getting heavier. Whose bright idea was it to coin the phrase, "Super Size Me." Yes I would like an extra chin with my Biggie Fries. And could you please throw in an extra tummy roll with my order too??

Then I got up and hit the treadmill, I stayed on it for 1 hr., I couldn't believe it! Then I had some steamed veggies for lunch. I had to go to the grocery store but I also decided to go shopping and try on some clothes. I could tell that I have lost inches and my clothes have been getting super baggy. Truth be known they were a little baggy to start, I never bought anything form fitting. I felt very optimistic and wanted to see if I could fit into a size 14. Like a dream, everything was fitting! That has never happened to me before in a store. Usually I haven't liked the size 18's that I used to try on. Man, I was so excited. I ended up spending a lot of money on new clothes. I even bought a really cute skirt and shirt that is very dressy and stylish to wear this week when my 5th grade students take their class picture. Now I am inspired to throw out all of the fat clothes in my closet (I am never going back there.) For dinner I made turkey bugers with lettuce instead of buns. For a snack I had fat free jello with fat free whipped topping.

Great job Elizabeth!!! I"m glad you're feeling better and wow Size 14!!! I just got down to that size also!! I bet the class picture with your kids is going to look great!
I almost bought some turkey burgers today but they seemed to have quite a bit of fat in them. One package I looked at said 9 grams of fat per patty. Which type of turkey do you ususally buy and how many calories/fat does it have?

Thanks Susie, I am looking foward to wearing my new outfits to school. I buy the Jennie-O extra lean ground turkey and then make and season my own patties.

Journal Sunday 2-12
Well today was a pretty good day. Woke up and had an egg white omelet with salsa. Worked out at the gym with my friend and then came home to do the treadmill. Went to the store and bought some vitamins (One A Day Weightsmart and some fiber pills-lots of people told me that it was important to take fiber while I was dieting.) For lunch I had a Weight Watchers entree, snack was fat free yogurt, and dinner was turkey tortilla casual with lettuce and tomatoes on top.
Drank all of my water today and then some.
Was meaning to get to bed earlier tonight but it seems that I can find a million things that need to be done Sunday night before starting a new work week at school.
I am anxious about weighing in at school tomorrow, I know I have lost! I also can't wait to wear one of my new size 14 outfits. Speaking of which I need to iron it and get to bed!
See you tomorrow!!

weigh in
Hey how did the weigh in go??? And did everyone compliment the size 14 outfit you wore? You are going to knock em dead. What is a tortilla casual? I agree with Susie about the Jenny-O Turkey. It is really good. If you dont have that, I am sure your grocery store has their own brand of ground turkey. If you discover any new turkey recipes, let me know. I havent used my skillet in a long time, and I am ready to fire it up again. Hope you arent having anymore pc troubles. That can be so annoying. Hope we can get together to chat soon!
