Woohoo! 11+ inches. That is so great! Sounds like you are doing everything right. I have no idea how many inches I have lost, but then again I dont want to be reminded of how huge I was. Sounds like you are going to win that contest at your gym no problem. How are things going with school? Are you still putting the students through boot camp? One day they will thank you for it!

I have a question about the walking videos. I'm assuming when you do the 1 mile workout, or two, or three, you're working harder than you would if you actually went outside and walking the same distance? It sounds like you do a lot more than just walking.
I'm interested in these videos, but since a 3 or 4 mile walk outside is pretty standard for me, I'd like to have something to kick it up a notch. Try as I might, I have a hard time keeping the pace up, on my walks. When I think about it too much, I end up not enjoying it, and not wanting to go. I figure it's better for me to do it at a pace where I can enjoy it, so I'll keep it up. But I'd still like something for those days when I don't have time, or the weather is just too nasty for a nice long walk outside.

Thanks so much for the info about the video, I think I'll give it a try in the evenings. I'm glad it's something I can use. My living room is really tiny atm so I can't manage things that require machines or lots of space, but I'm moving mid-month. I'm amazed and astounded by the posters who are walking 4+ miles already! I want to be there too! I'll definately start with the 1 mile program though. Thanks and I'll let you know how it goes.

I live in an aprartment and also have a tiny living room, it is just enough room to get it done though!

I really like the walking videos when i do them... it is more than just plain ol walking plus to intestify things you can hold some handweights (or mine actually came with some weighted balls that don;t hurt when you accidentally drop them on your foot LOL

The 3 mile walk will definitely kick things up a notch! She moves so fast but she is constantly talking so the time just flies by!

Long time no see! Just checking in to see how you are doing. I think I might check out those walking videos as a back up. Lately I have been too distracted to do anything! Except eat, sleep, work and watch tv. AHHH! Glad to hear that Ms Hyatt's Boot Camp is still in session and so is the walking club.

Way to go!
I can't believe that you have lost so much weight and inches within such a short time frame...it is totally awesome! You are such an inspiration to me! I look up to you! I couldn't agree with you anymore about the walking videos - I love them! My favorite at this time is my Walk & Kick video - I like the kickboxing.
