Taebo sounds like an excellent source of exercise! You just have to remember to keep switching things up, and do what is going to keep you motivated. I have been doing more of my treadmill than the gym (I was trying to do both everyday, and it was a little much.) I found that I can still work out the same amount of time without feeling like a yo-yo going back and forth everyday trying to do both.

How are the water aerobics going? That sounds like a lot of fun!

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. It always helps. Water aerobics? I LOVE water aerobics. The resistance in the water is unbelievable. I signed up for Water Kickboxing. It starts as soon as my current class ends. I love that because there is no break. I am struggling a little bit tonight. My eating schedule was a little off today and I think that may be why I am a little hungry. That's why I'm online to keep my mind off it. I think variety is key when exercising. I easily get bored. I think that is one of the reasons why I LOVE Taebo. It is always challenging so I am never bored with it.

What kind of Taebo do you do? Is it a specific video or a class that you take?

Hi butterfly.

water aerobics sound like so much fun. We have a pool nearby and my husband and I always talking about joining and going to a cl**** but we haven't yet.
I used to do Taebo about 80 pounds ago with some friends.. we did some videos in the church basement. I am starting slow with getting nack into exericse, but I look forward to pulling the taebo out again someday

Talking Tae Bo

Hello!

I have always wanted to try Tae Bo and I found a three dvd set at WalMart. I tried the first one and it kicked my butt. I was really sweating, and it was a great workout. You have inspired me to try it again today! How are the H2O aerobics going? Do they target a certain area or everything?

What specific Taebo class/video am I using? Recently I have done the Basic DVD from the Bootcamp collection without the Billy Bands and I did Taebo Cardio yesterday and that is what I will do today. I have 14 Taebo vhs tapes and 3 Taebo dvds and I have another on the way. As we can see I am obsessed with Taebo. When I originally lost weight a couple years ago Taebo was my main exercise. It got me in enough shape to feel comfortable to go to the gym. I noticed so much toning in hips, thighs, legs, arms, everywhere!!!

I see water aerobics as a full body workout. We use weights, we use noodles, and just moving in the water provides resistance. LOVE IT!

Today started off with a power outage that lasted 5 hours. That limited my food options and then I was like I might not be able to do Taebo. I have a manual elliptical that came out a few years ago, Orbitrek, and is back out again under a different name. I was almost going to use that but then the power came back on. I will exercise 1-2 hours after dinner. That Orbitrek takes so much out of me and that's why I don't use it much but maybe I should. We'll see...

Which Taebo DVD doesn't require you to have any extra equipment. The Cardio one sounds good. What does the cover say, so that I know I am getting the right one.
