Hello from the Midwest
Hi, my name is Kris and I am a huge Biggest Loser Fan. My daughter and I watch this show religiously. She watches it because she is a reality show junkie, and I watch it for inspiration. I am a 31 year old married man and I live in Michigan. I have been big for most of my life. There was a short period of my life when I was skinny between the ages 18-21, but my life style was about smoking, drinking, etc. I have since quit those habits and am trying to battle my weight now. When I first quit smoking I gained 50 lbs. in 4 months. I have been climbing in my weight ever since. My highest was 301 lbs. when the first season of Biggest Loser started. Since then I have tried different diets that I have trouble sticking to, and exercise regements that last for a week or two. I have successfully eleminated fast food from my diet and cut back on the soda and have b een able to maintain a weight of around 280 lbs. since Thanksgiving. Go me. I am a Network Administrator and sit on my butt all day. I try to be active, but it is hard with the wether to get out and do stuff for fun. I hate running. I can't get myself started and I do not have the drive to keep going when it gets hard. I would love to go on the show, because I know either trainer could push me past the point when I would normally quit and maybe I would stick with it longer if I go the results that they show. Anyway I look forward to talking about the show with all of you.
