All my life I’ve eaten junkfood

I need a plan to lose weight. All my life I’ve eaten junkfood , and now I’m fat and I’ve got to lose some weight. I’ve got to start eating healthy food. But first I need a plan, so if anyone has some ideas, please share them with me. Anything I can find online?

It depends on what you mean by healthy food

You should eat many vegetables, no take-out food, and some meat from time to time. You also need a fitness program. You can find a bunch of resources online at http://www.projectweightloss.com – they have diet ideas, as well as a menu planner and a calorie counter The calorie counter lets you calculate how many calories you can eat daily to reach your target weight, and it’s pretty cool, with a bunch of graphs and stuff.

Lightbulb There’s no need for all that trouble

Just become a vegetarian. It’s time to stop eating meat, and start living a healthy life.

Welcome to the boards.

There is nothing wrong with becoming a vegetarian, just make sure you are getting enough protein. Are you going to eat fish at all or just cut out red meat? Cottage Cheese is a good source of protein and nuts are a good source of healthy fats. Peanut butter as well (just watch the portion size.)

I happen to love the MorningStar Farms Veggie line...But try not to eat them everyday because they are loaded with preservatives and sodium. I made that mistake a while back and it slowed me down. As my mother says, "You have to eat clean."

Best of luck,
~Carrie
