Unhappy Hello there

Hello my name is Bill. 33yr old male. 5'6" 211pounds this morning. I used to lift weights often and gained a bunch of muscle. anyways the past few years i have not exercised and have gained around 30 pounds of fat.
I always tell myself every monday im gonna start lifting and eating better, never happens. My diet is horrible and my work schedule is hectic and irregular.
What did everyone say to themselves to get the motivation to start exercising? I have a complete home gym. good treadmill, bike stepper. olympic weight 400 lbs. dumbells 5-45lbs, pull up/dip machine and more. Its rediciulous to me to own all that exercise equipment and just watch it collect dust.
i would like to get back down around 175 or so. I ordered all the biggest loser books Amazon.com was selling to maybe help motivate me. i also watch the show every chance i get.

i apprecaite any help,support,info

thanks

Welcome to the site. I am a Mountain Dew addict as well. Try 4C Iced Tea that you can add directly to bottled water. Or Crystal Light as a soda substitute. Diet Snapple Iced Tea is good too. If you cant kick soda right away try Diet Rite Soda. They have several different flavors. Or even Faygo soda. Best of luck!
