Arrow September Dedication

I am getting prepared for the month of September. I am going to be dealing with a lot of stress at home but I can't let that get in the way of me reaching my goal in October.

I am going to start working out with Bob again for the month of September. I will be continueing my walking with Leslie, too but my goal is to workout with Bob each day.

Does anyone else want to make a dedication for the month of September? It can be drinking a certain amount of water, watching calorie intake each day, or exercise each day...whatever you want to do.

I am going to try to get in daily to make my post on my workouts...if I miss a day I'm going to be sure to post it on my calendar - this will keep me on track!

My goals for September are:
-to hit 190 pounds
-to buy myself a nice new outfit because I haven't in months...and it's my birthday September 18
-to eat lunch!
-to continue working on my self-esteem
-keep up with the intensity of my workouts

I want to post my exercise every day, like I did for August. I really like looking back and seeing what all I've done. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Plus, it doesn't take very long!!!
September 1: 9.5 mile bike ride (50 minutes-- not bad for my bike) 10 minutes - abs and stretching
September 2- 60 minute bike ride, through varying terrain. Yeehaw-- it was fun. (TOM)
September 3 - 55 minute bike ride

Changed my dedication workout

I have decided to not workout with Bob for the month of September just yet. I have decided to workout with Leslie instead.

My workout each day will consist of:
~3 miles with Leslie (45 minutes) in the morning
15 minutes on stationary bike immediately after
~3 miles with Leslie (45 minutes) in the afternoon
15 minutes on stationary bike immediately after

Total = 2 hours (1.5 hours walking & 30 minutes of bike)

Walking has really kicked off my weight loss - especially belly fat. I'm eager to get it started again! I have been walking with her the last couple of days and I forget how great it feels to finish the video with her.

I think that Saturday will be my day off for the week - I'm going to be so busy with football games for the next month and a half. Games are on Saturdays until 10/07/06...this is their last game.

goals are good

Count me in on a goal for September.

1. 8+ glasses water each day
2. go back to the gym at least 2 days per week.
3. eat healthier meals.

We don't have a cafeteria at school so I can only eat what I bring. If I get hungry there is absolutely nothing I can do about it unless I stoop to stealing my kindergarteners twinkies.
