I have heard that walking is one of the best ways to lose the weight. I know that one thing I don't want to hear about how to lose this is to do sit ups or crunches...I have a hard time getting up and down.

Tell me about it!

Belly fat is the hardest to lose! Jillian often refers to it as heart attack fat. This is my worst area. There are a lot of new ab machines out there not that are a lot less painless than doing crunches. Luckily my gym has 2 different ones, hopefully soon I will be in good enough shape that doing crunches won't bother me as much. Here's to hoping....

Losing the intertube....

The key....EXERCISE! Cardio..walking...aerobics...whatever it takes to get your heart pumping! You have to exercise and work on it 3+ times a week....crunches help to tone but doesn't help to lose that excess weight there.

Good luck!

I think that is the area that is hardest of all for people to lose, a healthy diet and exercise will always go a long way in this area. Walking is still the best form of cardio for people, getting up and moving around

It will come off, just don't get discouraged and remember not everyone can have a tight flat stomach, (even though we all want it )

If I remember right from some past reading stress causes belly fat in women. One thing to do is find time when you can be alone and release your stress daily! I have started doing this - I do this when I pray or when I go for my walks...I just release it and it makes me feel a lot better. I do not worry so much anymore - I am known to be a worrywart.

Stress I agree is a huge factor in woman's weight issues, wether it's gaining or losing, but stress does have a huge impact on us. I think more so than most men.

Use your excerise time for you time!!!!! It will help you feel better, look better and relieve some of that stress

Belly Fat

I have found that since I have been consistent about my workouts this week, I am feel a lot less stressed-Yea!!! (People always told me this would happen, but I didn't believe them!) At my gym most people go in the morning so I am usually there alone and can reflect on my day while I am doing the circuit. It also helps relieve stress to have someone to talk to while you work out, it goes by so much faster and you leave the gym feeling much more easygoing than when you walked in.

Since buying my treadmill this week I have found that the walking really does help. I felt it all over the next day!

I agree that exercise is our time. I have found that when I walk alone I talk to myself - I hope I'm not the only one who does this. I tell myself that I can complete my walk in a good time - I talk to God A LOT!!! When I start to get tired I just talk myself through it - telling myself "You CAN do it!" I feel so much better when I am finished - I feel like I had just cleansed myself.
