workout dvds

I know many of you have TBL workout. And I see the Jillian has a couple of workout DVD's too.
How do you like TBL workout? Anyone see Jillian's?
I guess being house bound lately ( just too darn hot to go outside!!) is making me wish I had some new workout dvd's. I have a couple of Leslie Sansones--- and I really like them, but they aren't exactly a challenge. They're good, and I know they're good for me, but I do like a challenge too.
I've read reviews on Amazon, and they both get good reviews. They both sound TOUGH! And time efficient. That's a big plus for me. It's really tough to put those in, that last an hour or so. Half and hour, 20 minutes-- no big deal. But an hour is just too long to watch an exercise video.
Any thoughts , suggestions?
Is TBL going to come out with a new version this season?

Just wondering, how are the other Leslie Sonsone videos? I have the walk and kick and have a couple more on the way including TBL. I also have a Denise Austin Pilates video. I really feel it the next dat when I do that one, I talked to my sister this weekend she has the boot camp videos and she recommended staying away from them. I havent been going out in this heat either, Im hoping they come soon, it adds a little variety

I have a whole shelf FULL of workout dvds... Walk Away the Pounds, Richard Simmons, TaeBo, Yoga, Pilates, BL workout, etc etc etc.
BL Workout is tough... I love it. there is enough variety that I don't get bored. I also do the walk away the pounds when it like 112 degrees out and I don't dare go for a walk. Once in a while I do the yoga, but more often than not I get busy waltching tv and don't take the time
I hope they do come out with a new dvd this year... I wouldn't doubt it.

I bought Jillian's front and back set. I'll let you know what I think, after I've tried them; out a few times.

Wow -- I really liked it. I did the backside one. I guess this is her second set of videos -- this one is 'maximize'. She started out saying ' I hope you're in shape fromthe first 'front and back' videos.' Uh oh!!!
But she explained that she's working the same muscles, but in a different way, so I don't think it was a big deal that I didn't do the first ones.
It was fast-paced, tough, and over before I knew it. I remember thinking "I'll never make it through!!" But then I saw I was already 15 minutes into it, and it's only about 25 minutes total.
I love that -- that you can really do a tough workout, in a short amount of time.
It was hard to keep up, and I probably missed a few reps -- but that's ok for the first time.
I love it that it's still very aerobic, even though you're doing a lot of strengthing. It also doesn't have a loooonngg boring 10 minute warm up. Her warm up really gets you going, right off the bat. Some might say you should start slower, but I hate warm-ups that take forever, and are boring. Seems like such a waste of time! I'm going to trust Jillian-- -she know's what she's doing!
The only complaint I have, is that they did have a girl doing modified exercises on some of them. I did need that on a few, but when they started those exercises, you couldn't always see her right away. Jillian says 'Follow Megan ( or whatever her name was), and I would have loved to, but I COULDN"T SEE HER!!
But, you eventually could, and next time, I know I'll remember how she modified everything.
It's really no-nonsense. I liked it, and am looking forward to doing the one for my front!
I really feel like I accomplished something.
