Supreme Pilates

Another infomercial. I like Pilates a lot and this would add to what I already do. Does anyone own this or know anyone that owns it? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Supreme Pilates

I have never heard of Supreme Pilates, but I know that any Pilates videos I have come across have been really good.

I have to ask anyone who has done pilates @ home with a video....are the videos easy to workout with? I have always thought that if you do yoga or pilates that you needed an instructor to check your stance...is this not true?

Pilates DVD

Not so much with the Pilates. There are also a lot of good pilates books out there too. I would be afraid to do too much yoga on my own though without having some training first. The Pilates that I have done in the classes I have taken hasn't been too difficult especially after doing it a couple of times. Just don't try anything too advanced until you get used to it.

I have Winsor Pilates. Probably 5-6 videos and they are really easy to follow. Mari Winsor gets on my nerves but that is not a big deal. Definitely does a great job of melting away inches and pounds.

I also got a great Pilates book at Half Price Books for just $3! It is big with lots of color photographs, so far it has been pretty easy to follow.

I'm just getting ready to sign up for a Pilates and a Yoga class at the Y. I wanted to try classes I've never done before and I also worry about having an incorrect form if I do it on my own. We'll have to see how it goes, they don't start until the middle of February, but I'm still excited.

72butterfly...you mention that you have done pilates. You also mention that we'll be amazed at how it melts away the inches...is this what has happened with you? Personal experience with pilates?
