Exercise Accountability--June

I love to exercise but I am struggling these days. There is so much to do at work!! I work in recreation so this is a huge time of year for us. I feel tired all of the time. I know, I know... excuses, excuses. So I decided to steal an idea that I saw on another forum I visit. Exercise accountability journals. You report what you did for exercise that day. So this one starts on June 1st. I will start a new one every month or if anyone sees its the 1st of the month and I haven't started it feel free to do so. Please join me if you feel this will help you too.

Goal: Exercise 5 times per week
June 1: Pilates 20 minute Circle workout, 40 minutes on the treadmill
June 2: Taebo Cardio, 44 minutes
June 3: Taebo Flex, 46 minutes
June 4: Water Kickboxing, 55 minutes
June 5: Walked 4 miles outside with my mom (beautiful day!)
June 6: Day off
June 7: Taebo, 30 minutes
June 8: Walked 2 miles on the track at the gym with mom
June 9: Taebo Cardio Circuit #1, 36 minutes
June 10: Day off
June 11: Pilates 20 minute Circle workout, YogaNow 30 minute Core Workout
June 12: Taebo Cardio Circuit #1, 36 minutes
June 13: Leslie Sansone Walk and Jog, 33 minutes
June 14: Day off
June 15: Taebo Basic (Original Set), 27 minutes
June 16: Day off
June 17: Day off
June 18: Day off
June 19: and yet another Day off
June 20: Yep, can you believe it another Day off..obviously I am struggling
June 21: Day off, I am working on an entire week
June 22: Day off..I'm almost to a full week off
June 23: Nope...didn't exercise
June 24: Oops I forgot to...
June 25: How many days off is that?
June 26: Is it the end of the month yet?
June 27: I just can't get off my behind
June 28: I can't believe it has gone this far
June 29: Nada
June 30: I am so done

Great idea...

This sounds great - I'm with ya on this. I'm also starting pilates as my June challenge...I haven't done it in awhile and feel that it really helped in my lost inches. I will try to make it in here daily to report my workouts. My goal is to workout 5-6 days out of the week. Best Wishes to you!

I think I'll try this out too, it's a great idea.

June 1: 1 hour on the elliptical, 1 hour swimming, 30 min walk
June 2: 1 hour weights (with trainer), 1/2 hour treadmill, 1 hour swimming
June 3: 30 min Tae Bo Kickboxing video
June 4: skipped
June 5: 1 hour weights (trainer), 1/2 hour treadmill, 45 min swimming, 30 min walk
June 6: 1 hour treadmill, 1 hour swimming
June 7: 1/2 hour weights, 1 hour cardio on stationary bike, 45 min swimming
June 8: 1 hour on treadmill, 30 min walk
June 9
June 10
June 11
June 12
June 13
June 14
June 15
June 16
June 17
June 18
June 19
June 20
June 21
June 22
June 23
June 24
June 25

Goal:Step up workouts to 1.5 hours daily - instead of 45 minutes...starting June 8th.

June 6: 3 miles with Leslie Sanson - 45 minutes; Pilates with Leslie - 7 min

June 7: 1 HOUR WALK OUTDOORS & MOWED LAWN - 1 HOUR

June 9: 1 hour walk (outdoors)

June 10: No exercise – worked @ Mom’s house

June 11: No exercise – baseball game

June 12: 45 minute walk outdoors – Sculpt & Tone (30 minutes) – Played outdoors with kids for 1.5 hours 1 hour walk outdoors ---total 3 hours and 45 minutes

June 13: 1 hour walk (outdoors) very brisk pace -
