Question Recommendations on workout videos @ home

Hello All! I am having a terrible time deciding on what workout videos - I will be going to the public library to check them out but will also be heading to Wal-Mart to find something. I am just so confused on if I should get a walking video plus pilates plus aerobics...or should I just get one to begin with? I know that variety is good but starting out should I just workout to one video?

Yesterday was the first day in a little over a week that I was unable to walk because it was too cold...I feel awful b/c I didn't get my workout done. I only got 1/8 of a mile complete.

I will be purchasing a workout video @ Wal-Mart tomorrow and need recommendations on what to get. I also made a post about Leslie Sansone's videos. It is just tough making this decision.

If anyone can help please let me know your recommendations. THANKS!

Hi Patty-

I tried The biggest loser workout this morning. I made a post on another thread if you want to read what I thought about it.

I looked at the Leslie Sansone's videos at Wal-mart the other day and almost bought one but I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. If you get one let me know what you think. Thanks.

I did get the Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds video - 30min workout. I love it...I will be doing this every morning. I feel that I had a much better workout than when I walk my 2 miles outdoors. This weekend will be a really cold one so I am glad that I got it. The reason for me getting this is when the weather is not tolerable for me and my 2 1/2 year old. I think I made a good decision to get it. I almost picked up Leslie's Pilates video but put it back down. I wasn't so sure about it...I am going to check out a video on pilates before I buy one.

Great! I'm glad you got it and you like it. That's the most important, finding something that you like to do so you'll stick with it.

I just realized that the video I have of Leslie is the Walk & Kick - I went into Blockbuster ONLINE to order a few more of her videos. I had included the one, two, and three mile video...I can't wait to get those...along with the Pilates video.

I just tried the 10 Min Solution Pilates from Lara Hudson and loved it. There are 5 10 min workouts. You can choose to do a couple or all 5. That way you get an all over body workout or you can work on problems areas that you want to concentrate on. I did the abs and arms so far and love it.
