Talking My Challenge To Myself

Ok I have decided that the only way to get back on track is to challenge myself. I always seem to shine when my back is against the wall. I have decided that I will fly home around June 22-23rd. So I have 101 (approx. days) to whip my behind into the 130's. I dont even want to know what I have ballooned back up to since I went on my bingefest. So I am going to guess around 165. (AAAHHHHH). Could be more, could be less. All I care about is getting to the 130's by hook or by crook. 120's would be even better. So, I challenge myself to keep a 100% honest food, exercise, emotional journal. If I eat it, drink it, feel it, or exercise it off...it all goes in the journal. I will be accountable from here on out. Starting tonight, I am going to attempt 3 hours on the treadmill with my ankle weights. Should prove to be interesting. I am hoping for no less than 9 miles. Results will be in my daily journal, and I will keep myself off the scale until March 31st. (Easier said than done). Anyway, better shut down my computer and get to the gym, another round of storms is headed this way. Good luck to everyone in their own challenges!

Once again you managed to come up with a great idea. I think I might join you in holding myself accountable for all my choices, and write them out in my "Accoutable Journal". That just sounds kind of scary doesn't it?
As for the scale, I am waiting until my 28th birthday to weigh myself again. That'll be in July. I don't want to see a pound here and there, I want to see 50lbs gone, or something to that degree. Kind of like the best birthday gift I could give myself if that makes any sense at all.

Best of luck, Carrie - wishing you all the best with your diet and fitness goals! But I agree with Patrick, don't be too hard on yourself and don't push yourself - slow and steady is the best way to go!! Let us know how you get on and take care. Hope you get the results you are hoping for :-)
