Question Biggest Loser DVD?

Anyone have the Biggest Loser Workout DVD? IF you do, what do you think of it?

If you haven't seen the DVD it's got a series of workouts complete with warm up and cool down. There is also some fluff about the show's, some commercials from 24 hours fitness, and other little extra's, but the workouts are the key.

I find even the "low Intensity" workout a challange, and I normally run 10-12 miles a week. They include a lot of variation, some free weight exercises, and lots of aerobics.

Bob runs the workouts, with serveral of the cast members behind him. YOu can tell based on what the season two contestents look like, that the DVD was filmed just before they left the ranch. Suzi, Matt, Gary and Shannon are the main cast in the DVD, but you'll see others spread throughout the DVD.

If you have room in your house/apartment to do the workouts, they are fantastic. I got past my ego and started doing the aerobics to fantastic results.

I've been eyeing up that DVD for a while, I always hate buying that stuff, getting home, trying it and finding out you don't like it

I'm so far out of the loop I don't even know where to begin to look for it! Is it something that's available at K-Mart or Wal-Mart or what?

Dvd

I have been wondering about the DVD also. I live in an upstairs apartment that doesn't have a lot of space. I am also concerned about making a lot of noise for the people who live below me. Would you still recommend the DVD for me?

All of the exercises include jumping jaks, or jumping rope type movements, so I would think that it's not apartment friendly. Perhaps if you asked your neighbors when they are not home, or if they mind that you are trying to get healthy, they may understand.... Depends on the neighbor I suppose.

Thanks Denver! I have purchased exercise tapes before and they usually involved a lot of jumping around. Thanks for the tip.

ABDenver...thanks for answering ehyatt about the DVD not being very apartment friendly. I, too, am on the top apartment - but the difference is that I don't care about the noise I make...THEY ARE SO LOUD. LOL No...just kidding (somewhat) - I know when they are home b/c I am a housewife and I'm home all the time. I know that a good time for me to workout is when their radio is blaring. I'm anxious on getting the DVD - I just don't have the money to get it. I can't wait to get an exercise in along with my walking.

I looked at my local Wal-Mart for this DVD this past weekend and didn't see it, so I'll have to look a little more. I know you can get it online
