21 Day Challenge

I have done these in the past and they work well for me. I am starting to get a little bored and need to do something different. I do so many different types of execises (weight training, elliptical, treadmill, pilates, taebo, water exercise) you would think I wouldn't get bored, but I am. I need something to help me keep up my motivation. So here it is...

I will do Pilates everyday for 21 days. Even if I have some other type of exercise planned for the day I will do Pilates in addition to the other exercise. The challenge begins on March 1st. Stop here to check in on me or join me with your own type of 21 day challenge. I will do another challenge in June. It will be Taebo then, that will help me kick it into high gear before summer camp begins and I am wearing shorts almost everyday.

I will start posting on Wednesday, March 1st.

I think this is a great idea... I think I will plan a 21 day challenge for me too... is 21 days just 3 weeks (everyday) or only weekdays for a month?

3 weeks, everday. I think I will try to do the Pilates in the morning because its only 20 minutes. I can use my being an early riser to my advantage.

What a great idea. I am going to do it too. I will have to do some thinking I might do the pilates too I just love it.

Great idea. It could also be a food challenge too. I am consistent with my workouts but do not always get all of my water because I get busy and at the end of the day I have only dranken 4-6 glasses. I will join the 21 day challenge and commit to drinking 8 glasses of water a day.

I am so happy that others want to join in. I will be updating my measurements on March 1st too. That works out perfect because I will do a before and after measurements for my 21 day challenge. Well I won't actually post the measurements just the difference. One of the "Fit Club" girls will be joining me for the Challenge too. I let her borrow 4 or 5 pilates tapes and she hasn't used them yet so this will be her opportunity. Besides she has lost 18 pounds for her wedding in May and now she wants to tone up so she can meet her goal of wearing a bikini during her honeymoon in Hawaii. Pilates will definitely help her to meet that goal. I am so excited. I am already thinking about how I will reward myself at the end.

I think I am going to find a video or set of videos that I can do every day for 21 days. I was going to start this morning but unfortunately couldn't get my butt out of bed. So I am planning to start now next Monday... that will give me a few days to ease into it

Joining the 21 day challenge...

This is such a terrific idea! I will be joining you in the 21 day challenge - I will also be doing Pilates on top of my other workout each day. I just received my Leslie Sansone "You can do it" Pilates video - I will be watching it today and start working out to it on March 1st right along with you. I will try to post daily on how things are going but will definitely be within the messages.
