What a night!

Yesterday I did my 10 min pilates (2 sessions, 20 min) arms and abs sessions so I am a little sore today (a good sore) and then lastnight I had quite a workout. My husband and I both bartend and lastnight was his night to work and I went with to hang out. Well it was crazy and by 9pm I was behind the bar with him and we were go go go from that point on. Now my legs are sore too. LOL So I got and unexpected work out especially since it is cold out and I wore my woal sweater with a turtleneck under it so I worked up a sweat. LOL But unfortuately I over ate a bit but I am not going to beat myself up about that as I have been doing soooo good. By the way we made enough in tips to pay for our hotel that we are staying at in Duluth in March when we go away for a few days by our selves.

Awesome Theresa! Maybe you overate because your body was working so hard and needed the energy. I am sure you burned it all up. I love getting those "unplanned" workouts! I remember waiting tables when I was younger and I used to run my butt off (literally!)

Theresa...I'm happy to hear that you two were able to collect enough $$$ for your hotel stay...isn't that always nice. Sounds like you were pretty busy - keep it up. Like Elizabeth said - you needed that food for fuel b/c you were on the go. I hope you are starting to feel better - the muscles that is.

Thanks. I agree I think my body was running out of gas and I didn't go crazy. Plus since I was working I couldn't drink so that was good LOL. I am so excited for our trip to Duluth as our lives have been so crazy lately and we live with my parents so privacy is something we don't get alot of. Even though we live in the basement and it is like an apartment it's not the same as having our own place. But my husband is going to college and I am very appreciative of my parents for letting us live here so that we can afford for him to go back to college. But the time away is going to be nice and we need it.

Theresa - I know how it is having to live with parents. My husband, children, and I have had to live with my parents, too. My husband blew his hand up a few years back with a black powder cannon on Independence Day and lost his job. It is nice knowing that we have family to take us in when it is needed.

We are going mid march during his spring break. Lake Superior is there which is one of the great lakes. It is gorgeous. It is a special place for us. We are staying at the Radison which has an amazing view of the lake and a revolving resturant. I hope to lose another 5 to 10 pds by then. I had my offical weight in this morning and I am down to 152! 3 pounds from last week! Yeah I am right on track. I want to go by some sexy clothes for our trip and we plan on shopping while we are there. Can't wait!

It is sooooo nice to know you can rely on family. I don't know what I would do without them. They are great and for the most part it is going really well. In a year and a couple months we will moving.

I think I get an 'unplanned' workout, every day I go to work. I teach preschool -- our classrooms are in the basement. So, I go up and down the stairs several times each day. I'm on the floor with the kids, I'm constantly moving around. The only real chance I get to sit down, is the few minutes we have for our lunch break. Gosh -- I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining. I'm really glad I have an active job like this. I think if I was sitting all day long, I could feel my rear end growing bigger......
But this is why I don't stress too hard, about working out on the days that I work. I still try to do something-- so I stay in the habit of doing something every day. But, I sure don't feel too bad, if I get home and put my feet up. ( as long as I don't start stuffing my face! )
(I'm kind of like my avatar, while I'm at work!)
