Depends on how many movies you like to watch and how much time you have.

I just gave up my netflix account because I've decided that sitting around watching movies makes me want to eat and be lazy. Instead, I try to do something active instead....

If you like watching movies, it's a big money saver. YOu get movies about 3 days after you send them back, and as fast as movies get to DVD, it's silly to go to the theaters.

We are huge movie people, especially in winter (Wisconsin), it gets pretty cold here and dark very early in the day so there isn't much else to do. I've been thinking about doing Netflix, right now we just go to a local video rental store that's pretty reasonablly priced.

I was wondering how fast the return on the movies was. I belong to an Audio Book Club and sometimes it takes a week or more to get my next selection.

I have belonged to Netflix in the past (during the Illinois winters) and I loved it. I usually got the dvds in the mail really fast and the customer service was always great!. I love watching movies so it is great for me.

I have been getting exercise DVD's & music, along with movies. Whether it's worth it depends on how much you would have spent on renting, and the good part is trying out the exercise before deceiding to own. I also have multiple people here to split the cost with.

Are you referring to the BL video? I belong to Blockbuster and we get movies all the time. The return of movies is very fast - 2 to 3 days. I haven't even thought about looking into blockbuster for any workout videos - I will be doing that very shortly b/c I just updated my movie list. THANKS!
