What to do first ?

I have heard so many conflicting things on maximizing fat loss. Do you Do weights first to burn more calories and then do Cardio, or vice versa? Is doing one over the other more beneficial?

Doing Cardio burns the fat, but it is VERY important to do weights to build lean body mass. I do cardio 6 days a week and weights every other day, giving the muscle groups time to rest.

Yes, but when you do weights, you want to do a certain muscle group one day, give them 72 hour rest, so for instance:

Monday: Cardio and weights for arms
Tuesday: Cardio and weights for legs

Basically, Cardio plus weights is great. Just don't do the weight training on the same muscle group everyday. The muscles need to have a rest period in between. Missy is a great one to talk to about this, she has a lot of experience.

The best way is to do both weights and cardio and yes you can do them on the same day. As Sandi said just make sure you give your muscle groups 72 hours rest between.

Also, do your weights first..your cardio will be more efficient because you will have already gotten your heart rate in your target zone. To burn fat you need to be in your target heart rate zone for 20 min before you even start burning the fat...so by doing your weights first, you are burning fat the whole time you are on your cardio machine.

Which to do first? I bet if you asked 12 people you would get six that say one way and the other half dozen would say the other. Personally I do my cardio first for 2 reasons. #1 I feel more loose and warmed up so I think I get a better weight lifting work out. #2 there is no way I could my cardio second, I pretty much push my muscles to failure with my weight training so to do an hour of cardio afterwards just wouldn't happen. Not to take away from what others have said, just my point of view.

I have no idea about it. Personally, i have to warm up for 5-10minutes first with walking/cardio stuffs then go for weights and we do the same muscular group every monday, wednesday and friday. - -" . Then after i finish with my weights then i'm back to do cardio for hours again.

resting muscle groups is very important, I have found that a split routine works best for me
