My first workout with the Biggest Losers...

As many of you know I got my Biggest Loser workout DVD in the mail yesterday morning. After I got off work and went to the gym lastnight I came home and watched part of the workouts and Suzy and Matt's stories. I hate to admit it but Bob kind of got on my nerves. It gives you the option to listen to the trainer & music or just the music while you work out. After I learn the steps I'll probably just listen to the music or listen to my own music.

So, last night I set my alarm for 5:30 am. I got out of bed this morning and put in the DVD and did the warm up, low impact workout and cool down. I'll tell you I was getting wore out just doing the warm up!! I'm proud of myself though, I made it all the way through the entire program!! My legs are still feeling the burn now.

So far I like it pretty well. I really enjoy watching Suzy, she is such an inspiration to me and she really does the workouts well. Poor Matt he can't keep up and gets out of step alot. LOL

I would probably give this workout DVD a 6 or 7 out of 10.

My legs are so sore....

I woke up this morning and my legs are so sore and I know it's from doing the workout yesterday morning!! So, I can definately tell that it's working something!

I just didn't have the energy to do it again this morning even though I know I should've. I will definately make more of an effort to get up early enough tomorrow morning to do it.

Suzi, if you don't have the energy to do the workouts, do the warm up and cool down stretches every day. You don't need much time and you might find that they put you in the mood.

I was surprised to learn that even doing regular stretches every day help you get your metabolism going and make you feel better about starting your day...

That's a great idea. I think if I would've done the warm up & cool down stretches this morning my legs would feel much better today.

Don't get down on yourself. You will begin to get used to waking up and working out - whether it is to the BL video or not. Do what you can starting out? Don't over do it!

They're just normal people like me, not fitness experts or models. I feel like I'm exercising with friends. It looks like the video was made before the final show of Season 2 because Suzy, Matt and the others from that season are not as slim on the video as they were on the finale.

All in all it's been good so far. My ab muscles in my stomach are really hurting this morning which is a good sign that it's working something!!

I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying it... I knew that after you worked out on it a couple of times you would grow to like it.
