What to do?
I seem to have hit my first real plateau. I am not sure if I should hold steady what I am doing, or should I change things up. First I will tell you what I am doing. Diet for breakfast I am having the weight smart oatmeal, 2 hours later 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese and a piece of fruit, 2 hours later can of progresso soup, 2 hours later 1/2 lowfat cottage cheese and a bag of cut up veggies(baby carrots, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, celery). Then I have a normal dinner just watching the portion size. Exercise I have been doing 1 hour of cardio per day, followed by weight training one muscle group, my week looks like this.
Monday 20 min stair stepper/20 min elliptical/20 min bike weight train chest.
Tuesday 20 min rower/20 min treadmill/ 20 min bike weight train shoulders.
Wednesday same cardio as monday weight train upper/lower back
Thur same cardio as tuesday weight train arms
Friday same cardio as mon/wed weight train abs
Sat same cardio as tue/thur weight train legs.
Sunday DAY OFF.
For about the past month this has worked really great for me, I am down nearly 20 lbs for the first 3 weeks of Jan, but things have really began to slow down.
