Going Exericise

I am going do some exericses something that have have not done in months. I would be happy if i did 5 minutes. I will try and walk on treadmill as long as possible today. I had a honey bun this morning a half of cookie i bake for kids, another snack and rice and one hen wing, no soda. Now, when i think about what i have eat today makes me sick. I need to be honest to myself if i want to lose weight and i do. I would like to weight 120.

Today

starting weight: 250 Sept 13, 2006
Goal: 120

1) Dont beat yourself up over what you have done today. Learn from it and change the behavior so you dont repeat it tomorrow.

2) Keep a food journal so you can keep track of what you are eating and why. This will help establish hunger patterns, behavior patterns, and help you count calories.

3) Good job with starting the exercise. Everyone has to start somewhere! Dont "eat" all your hard work. Instead, eat to make it work FOR you.

I will close with two of my favorite quotes....
"Eat to live; not live to eat."

And the old Cybil Shepard/ L'Oreal quote...
"Because I'm worth it."

Glad to see you have the right attitude about pushing yourself a little more each day. It will get better and easier as you go along, so don't give up!

Hello lyfechanges -- welcome to the boards. Great job today! It really is best to build up slowly. It will keep you from being too sore, or hurting yourself. Either of those things can put the brakes on an exercise program, which is definitely NOT what we want! Great job.

Good for you on doing 35 min on the treadmill. Just remember every little bit counts as one step closer to reaching your goals. Work at it a little bit at a time everyday and you will be surprised at how you can build yourself up more and more each day. Just don't give up on yourself, you are your own worst enemy.
