Question What do you eat for lunch?

I'm curious what everyone here eats for lunch? I'm not a fan of turkey breast but I was trying to eat that on a Whole Wheat Tortilla Wrap but I just can't get used to the taste of turkey and I would really like to find something else to eat instead. What do you eat for lunch?

Hrm, a lot of us use Tuna in wraps, mixes with various spices (not mayo) there's a thread about it in the recipie section I believe. You can still eat ham or roast beef or whatever meat you like, but turkey is probably the healthiest. Doesn't mean you should cut out the others, just watch the calories and maybe get a little thinner slice of it.

If I think ahead I make 2*a dinner portion and save half for lunch the next day (salads, spaghetti, chicken tenders, turkey sausage, ovenroasted veggies). If I'm running late I grab a lean cuisine meal or Low calorie can of chicken noodle soup. I always try and bring a piece of fruit for a snack though.
Cheers! Hope this helps!

Right now I eat a piece of whole grain flax bread with low fat peanut butter on it. 1 Granny Smith apple, 1 low fat yogurt and 1 scoop of whey protein powder in a shake.

Occasionally I will have a tuna sandwich as well.

I make a lot of homemade soups for supper, so I often have leftovers for lunch.

I'm not a big fan of turkey either so I usually have ham. I just try to buy the lower calorie ones that don't have a lot of additives or sugars

Soup

I was reading YOU ON A DIET, and they suggested to automate all but one of your meals. So I started looking around at what would be easy to do. I found prgresso soups, alot of them are 100 calories per serving with 2 servings per can. So I have a can of soup not too bad a 200 calorie lunch. I think there are about 15 or so different ones so even though it is all soup it isn't the same exact thing everyday. I was having soup and a salad, but I found the salad to be the boring part so I cut that out and just have the soup.

During the week when I work I usually have a frozen dinner like Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine but I get bored with them pretty fast and some days I order out lunch with everybody else. I usually try to stick with some kind of salad or grilled chicken when I do order out. I really like the Progresso soups also, I need to take some cans to keep at my work at desk so I'll always have something on hand for lunch.

Without fail I normally have a frozen meal (Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, Smart One, South Beach) and a yogurt/fruit/applesauce/pudding. If we order out at work I try to be healthy and choose grilled chicken. Wednesdays someone makes soup for the office and I eat the broth based ones and skip the cream based ones.
