i only eat the cereal bars as they are a great thing to put in your bag for shopping going out for a couple of hours etc.

otherwise im not really that bothered about them, i have one on my diet which are called hifi bars which have lots of fibre in them, making them a healthy alternative for me.

Yes, I love the cereal bars too. I always try to keep something like that in my purse, if I really start to get hungry and don't have a chance to eat. Little Debbie has some out now. I'm sure they aren't the least bit healthy, but they are about 100 calories each, and I think lower fat than the orignals. I like the the nutty bars. I love the original nutty bars too, but they are a huge no-no. The lower fat, lower cal. version is much more compact. Nice and chewy. Not something I should be eating very often, but I do find these more satisfying than say, a Special K bar.

I just happened to buy some All Bran Snack Bites today, brown sugar and cinnamon! There are 6 bags in a box each bag contains 110 calories though. BUT the good news is, its made with:
Whole Grain rolled oats
oat fiber
wheat bran
So it has a good source of fiber which we all need. 5 grams of fiber in a bag.
calories- 110
fiber-5 gm
sodium -90 _ I have to watch my sodium intake
sugars 9 gm, I find that high, not sure though?
protein is low at 1 gm- so you may want a protein drink with it

It also says if you are on an exchange diet, it equals to 1 carb and 1 fat.
I havent tried them yet, I will save them for when I go to work next week and have as a morning snack with the 1/2 cup size diced pears I like.

Oh and thats another thing I like to eat... fruit with natural juice no sugars added and Fiber One cereal mixed... no milk (not a fan of milk) and its quite good... loads of fiber and fruit. I eat the Fiber One with yogurt too.. very filling and low cal and tasty ..... and I could go on and on LOL

Any way, just thought Id share this with all of you. These snack things sound good, but I put them in the high cabinet so I wont eat them til work next week! HA HA!
