Talking Take a peek, please?

I'm on Day 2 of keeping a food journal and I'm interested in hearing feedback about how I'm doing so far.
Like I said, this is only my second day so I haven't had the chance yet to get real adventurous with my meals so it's kind of boring.

Ok, here goes......

Day 1
Breakfast ~ Boston Cream Peanut Butter Banana Split from the BL Cookbook
Lunch~ Turkey breast- Light Mayo, Slice of American Cheese on a Whole wheat tortilla. 1 pear
Dinner~ Grilled chicken breast in a tossed salad. Good seasons dressing. Sugar Free Jello pudding snack cup w/ sugar free CoolWhip

Day 2
Breakfast~ Boston Cream Peanut Butter Banana Split (BL Cookbook)
Snack~ String Cheese
Lunch~ Turkey, Slice of American Cheese, Light Mayo and lettuce on a Whole Wheat Tortilla. Baby carrots. Sugar Free Jello Snack Pack
Snack~ 2 Carmel Rice Cakes
Dinner~ Steak Salad w/ Red Wine Vinegarette Dressing
Snack~ Fruit Smoothie w/ Banana....Light Strawberry yogurt.....Light Apple Juice Cocktail.

I've only had water to drink.

Everything looks really good. I'm a picky eater when it comes to my diet so I'd probably skip the mayo and cheese, but anything eaten in moderation isn't bad Your meals look awesome!

Ahhhhhh thank you Missy! That's so good to hear! I'll probably post the same question from time to time just to make sure I'm still ok.

Thanks again.

Everything looks great. Eating the same breakfast and lunch everyday is a good routine to follow for successful weight loss. Keep up the fantastic job.

Thanks mrbean. I didn't know that eating the same things for Breakfast and Lunch everyday was a good thing. Glad you told me though

I keep all of my meals the same except for supper (even then I only alternate between 3 meals) that way I don't always have to figure out the calories all the time every single day. Some people need a variety, but I like to keep most of my things the same.

I am about half way through the book and it is great. So many diets tell you to do this and that but this book explains why things work. It is much easier for me to follow a program when I understand what certain foods are doing to my body and brain. I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes to know why we are always told to eat certain foods.

Take care,
Crimson
