They were the most dogged and underdogs who just kept on going and it was never about the game but rather just changing themselves. They both worked hard and slowly and steadily kept going.
Doc consistently lost a lot each week and the first challenge was so hard for him but he did finish it. Matt summed it up when they eliminated Pete, he was so unselfish, his motives were to help others and make others follow his example. He even wanted to be voted off rather than Pete and was quite upset when he wasn't. He was the first person in first, second or Australian season I have seen that was genuinely not playing the game from the start or who came to play it at some point.
Pete was just 'the man' who came to do what he needed to do and got it done. Given he started about the same as me, he is what I have in mind for my own transformation.
Great guys and it makes we wonder what the show would have been like without the eliminations and just a bunch of hard working motivated people showing us how they work through the baggage and come out changed people. More of the nitty gritty of how they did it and less of the dramas! Stopping now I am so off topic!
