Today when I was talking with my trainer he got talking about the changes he's made in his daughter's school. He is an active parent and gets himself involved. He had all of their vending machines removed from the school and had them replaced with machines that only sell water, flavoured water etc...there is also a machine that offers fresh fruit! How awesome is he?

Apparently his daughter only gets gym twice a week and he offered to volunteer his time FOR FREE to provide the children with more physical education. They refused it because he's not in the union...blah blah blah...I think it was great of him to offer though.

He also said he goes to all her school plays etc...and he is the only father who goes out of his way to show his daughter he is proud of her. He told me he gets her flowers everytime she has some kind of performance going on at her school.


I just felt like posting this because I am always inspired by people who take the time to help others and make them feel good.
