I'm not going to say yes or no to your query. I think you should do some research to know that the decision you make for your body is the right one. Look at information not from the companies who sell the drugs and not from diet magazines and such, but look at what clinical data exists today. Here are a few links because I decided to look into it before offering advice on anything that clearly is as complicated and possibly misrepresented. Often what is "known" is the public's view is completely wrong, especially when it comes to health recommendations. So here is some more scientific information for you to consider:

I would definately say consult an informed doctor (maybe a nutritionalist, but probably not just a regular family practice doctor) because it seems the problems associated with this product are interactions with other health conditions you may already have and also dosage amounts.
