Ok, this is probably the pot calling the kettle black.... However, in hopes that this MIGHT be of assistance to someone else here goes the possiblity of
sounding like a hypocrate (sp?). Why do we need to wait for the weather to break to go for a walk? Honestly, people go for walks in ALL types of weather ALL year long. I mean, just look at the winter Olympics, it's got to be as cold as can be out there, but they're still out there getting a work out in. Why not invest into a descent pair of hiking boots, warm gloves, hat, coat, what ever it is you think you need and just go?
I keep telling myself every day that I'm going to go for a walk today, yet I keep using the weather as an excuse. Then on my way home I see the father of one of the little girls in my daughter's class he's out jogging in ALL kinds of weather. Well guess who's in shape and who isn't? Like I said, kind of like the pot calling the kettle black, but in all honestly I'm hoping this helps set a lightbulb off in someone's head. The weather doesn't have to be perfect for us to partake in activities.
