Hi! I am English too, (although I'm currently living in the USA). Great to see another Brit on the site, I'm originally from Lancashire and married a American 4 years ago so moved over.
I'm a compulsive eater and have ditched all the diets and pills - they truly just set you up to fail. I now am a big believer in the 12 steps as a way to freedom from compulsive overeating - in my eyes its an eating disorder as serious as any other. Anyway, hope to see more of your posts!
