I really feel for you and your feet. It took such a long time for mine to get better, and I'm not quite sure what did it. Last fall, when I went back to work, my feet would just kill me after the day was over. But I wore my insoles, and got some good shoes. For exercise, I quit walking and starting riding my bike. I also did some stretching exercises I found on line. I filled up a plastic pop bottle with water and froze it (24 oz size) and would roll the bottom of my foot on it. It felt really good, especially after a long day at work on my feet.
And eventually it did just go away. I can still feel minor twinges, but I'm back to wearing my cheap flip flops, and other type of shoes , as well as going barefoot most of the time around here. But I'm very aware, and I know if it starts to hurt again, I will go right back to the right kind of shoes, all the time, as well as icing. I really should keep up the stretching exercises.
Well, probably talked about all of this before. But I know how frustrating and painful it is, to have this problem. I hope some of this helps.
