~Missy's Kicking Butt in June~

Just got back from one of the best workouts I've had in awhile. I must say I feel so good right now...so much more energized and pleased than when I don't workout. Matt and I both did the cirquit workout (fat burn room) and my heart was pounding out of my chest the whole time.

I spent 15 minutes on the elliptical today and burned 150 cals and then did 15 minutes on the treadmill and burned another 130, ran a bit on the treadmill a bit today too. With my cardio alone I burned 280 cals + whatever I burn doing my half hour weights workout in the room.

Matt and I are both working 9 hour days now, so we don't have a lot of time at night once we get home from the gym. It's frustrating, but we're pulling in awesome pay checks, so it's worth it. Plus we have been putting quite a bit of money away for the wedding. The girl that sits beside me at work today told me she's pregnant...I really wish I could have a child right now. As much as I want one...I don't want one just yet because I want to get to my goal weight before getting pregnant. We'll probably be trying to plan for one a year after we get married or so...so 2009 possibly. I'm turning 27 this year...so having my first kid at 29 would be pretty good for me.

Our rent is going up again in September too and we really want to get a house. We know it's not in the budget, but I feel like we dump all this money into rent and get nothing out of it....if we dumped a lot into a house, we can at least sell it and get something back. That won't be for awhile though....boo!

Don't have much planned for the weekend. Next weekend is my cousins wedding. It's going to be a nice wedding because he's wearing his soldiers uniform. He just got back from Afghanistan in March and might have to go back again soon....the family is really down about hearing that news.

Anyways...I guess my goals for June are to just get back into focus, work hard during my workouts, focus on the positive...and maybe lose 5 pounds at LEAST!

Food for today was:
Breakfast: 2 omega-3 eggs, 2 flax toast, 1/2 banana, 1 cup skim milk
Snack: 1/2 flax bagel w/light cream cheese, 1 turkey stick
Lunch: Tomato & Basil soup w/whole wheat crackers, egg salad sandwich on flax bread, 1 apple
Snack: 13 mini rice cakes, 1 whole tangerine
Supper: whole grain pizza w/turkey sausage, red & green pepper, mushrooms
Snack: whey protein shake, 1 sugar free popsicle
