Good thoughts, both of you. I had to laugh this morning when I was pouring myself a bowl of raisin bran...the box said something about losing a bunch of weight in just two weeks if you substitute raisin bran for two meals a day. Well, yeah, duh, that would work, but then what happens after the two weeks are over? Suffice it to say, I didn't have raisin bran for lunch!
I, too, am concentrating on having a lifestyle change rather than being on some kind of program. And the amazing thing is, it's working just fine. As I learn more about good nutrition and makes decisions based on what I'm learning, I'm losing a few pounds each month. On the rare occasion that I step on the scale, the weight is always less than it was the last time.
The thing that amazes me is that there is so much really good food you can eat that is good for you. I actually enjoy eating more now than I did when I was eating junk food and fast food.
