Nearly Fat-Free Cookies

I've had a yearning for oatmeal cookies recently, so I looked for a healthy recipe on the Web. This one is really quite good!

Healthy Oatmeal/Raisin Cookies

1/2 C. brown sugar
2 egg whites
2/3 C. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 C. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 C. old-fashioned oatmeal
2/3 C. raisins
1/2 C. walnuts

1. Mix brown sugar through vanilla together.
2. Add flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon
3. Stir in oatmeal, raisins & walnuts.
4. Spray cookie sheets with PAM. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on cookie sheets and flatten cookies with a fork.
5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.

I also added dates for more sweetness. Yummy!
