I think we all have the same intentions here, to lose weight and get healthy and people are different. It's the same way as it is with any realtionship whether it's a friend or a spouse and even a trainer.
There's those that need to be yelled and cussed at to push them and then there are those that need somebody to lift them up and encourage them in a more gentle manner. I don't see anything wrong with either way, it's just a matter of opinion.
