Well, I would agree that she does look beautiful. And I am the first one to say, you don't need to be a skinny-minny to be beautiful. I love how she wears her clothes with confidance, and style.
But.... and I don't know how to say this without sounding catty....she didn't stay with the program at all, did she.
I realize that a lot of these 'losers', will not be able to maintain the extrmeme weight loss that they had for the show. Some of them were on some pretty extreme programs, that would be very difficult to stick with, long term.
I don't remember how heavy Rasha was, when she began TBL, special edition, last year. But it seems like she has gained back a considerable amount of weight. And seems to be ok with that. Which is fine-- I guess. I mean, I do think people should be able to feel great about themselves, no matter what their size is. And it seems like she's really trying to promote that --- encouraging beautiful plus sized clothes, and encouraging magazines to show more plus sized models.
But I can't lie -- I'm disappointed that she didn't maintain. And I don't mean stay as thin as she was on her finale, but that she seemed to give up. She doesn't sound disappointed or anything. And that's really all that matters. But I am. I would love to hear about anyone who has been on TBL - regular season, or special editions, and learn how they're doing. Because what the heck good does it do to lose all that weight, if they aren't able to keep it off? I don't even need to hear everyone's individual stories, but would love some statistics.
I hope Rasha is the exception. And I hope she's reached a happy medium-- where she's not as heavy as she was when she started TBL, but at a weight she feels comfortable in, and can maintain.
