I think you first need to get it out of your head that you have to compare yourself to others, everyone is different and so is their body and genetics. Find an ideal weight that works for you and your height as well as your bone structure. For example, someone who is 5'6" tall...a healthy range would be between 112-147 pounds...that of course depends on the density of your bones and your build.
Exercise will never be fun...but to achieve weight loss, it's necessary or you won't get the results. You don't start burning fat until after 20 minutes of cardio being at target heart rate...so it's always better to go for at least 1/2 an hour.
You may gain weight in eating red meat, it's not recommended for weight loss...but try skinless chicken and things without grease. Take the skin off.
