I eat soy milk because I'm mildly lactose intolerant and you get used to it. Dairy products aren't great for you becuase of all the processing and pasteurization methods used in mass production. If we all had a cow in our back yard grazing happily and eating nothing but grass I'm sure the milk would be the most, pure nutirent dense liquid on earth! But industrial farms who feed cows all sorts of crap and chemicals...I just don't like the idea of eating that stuff.

Start out drinking plain or vanilla soy milk and ween yourself onto 'unsweetened' soy milk, Silk is the brand I buy, I like their products a lot. My husband drink organic milk....he says it tastes nicer than regular milk (not that I would know)
