Hrm, well it's not so bad on your skin if you lose the weight gradually rather over time. Many pregnant women rub vitamin E oil onto their skin to help it adjust to the size changes of pregnancy (that is supposed to be the very best for you), and there are also firming lotions with cocoa butter etc that are good for tightening the skin if you're gradually changing weight. I use a lotion from Palmers that I got a Wal-mart -smells heavenly and I think it's helping. It makes my skin feel great and soft anyhow.
