I read a book -- Body for life, WOMAN-- and she advised taking a multivitamin, such as Centrum. ( I take the wal mart version of this) and a calcium supplement, with vitamin D. She recommended calcium citrate, rather that calcium carbonate. Right now, I'm taking a calcium carbonate, but I'm going to switch, once these are gone.
I have a really hard time remembering to take these.
