Vitamins, Supplements, Replacements, Snacks?
Do you guys take any vitamins or supplements? Right now, every morning I drink a protein shake (Champion Nutrition Pure Whey, which is actually really good! I know, I was surprised too). I did a program a while back that had me taking vitamin supplement pills with every meal, and I felt bloody wonderful. Now, I'm looking at just getting something like the One-a-Day Vitamins, or something along those lines, just to get everything I need. Suggestions?
For the record too, the Pure Whey shake has been great. I really enjoy it and it's a great meal replacement. I've noticed a huge difference in myself since I started using it. A roommate of mine is a fitness guru (and DEDICATED VEGAN), which is great, 'cause he's a great resource, but I wanted opinions from other people as well. He recommended I try that and also turned me onto Clif Bars for the occassional snack. Those are great (I like the peanut butter chocolate chip), they are an animal product free snack bar, that tastes good and does actually have any chocolate or anything. Plus, they really satisfy the sweet tooth without being loaded with sugars and such, I was very surprised at how good it tasted without all the "crap".
