I was wondering how you all feel about the blatant commercials inserted into the show? This week it was Bob shilling for Jello. Last week I believe Kim was selling Milk....
I understand the show needs to pay the bills, but I feel it cheapens the credibility of the trainers. Seeing Bob getting into Erik's face and trying to inspire him is great. You really believe he cares and wants to motivate everyone into a fit, healthy life. I have to wonder what's going through Bob's head when he is dragging everyone into the kitchen to spend 45 seconds talking about how fun it is to make Jello.....? Do you think he really believes in the foods they have to sell, or is he just cashing in? If they have to shill for something, I just wish it was for healthier foods without artificial sweeteners and junk. I guess broccoli doesn't pay the bills.
