They do talk about the health somewhat, but the majority of the show is based on the exercise and the challanges. I would like to see more information about what the contestants are eating, how often, and what information they are using. I suppose that wouldn't make good TV, so they only mention it, or perhaps there is a liablility because everyone is different, and they don't want to encourage people to do this without doctor supervision.
The book has a lot of diet/health related information, but for those that don't have the book, the tv show comes up a bit short in diet education. Just my humble opinion...
