Hi everyone,

Ok question and answer time....

1) What do I do?

I am in public transit. I drive city buses and wheelchair vans. I also have driven tour buses before. Very rewarding work for the most part.

2) I topped out on LA Weight Loss at around 17 pounds. I have since slid backwards (my own fault). But I will beat it. I dont have a problem with the food. What food didnt you like? My issue is the scale messing with my head. I have lost the majority of my weight doing it on my own. I joined LA Weight Loss because I quit seeing progress. Right now I just have to climb out of the hole I have gotten myself into before it turns into a crater. Anything is possible if you can dream it.

3) Muscle vs fat. What are you doing for exercise? Muscle does weigh more than fat; but it is leaner so your clothes will fit better, but you will be "heavier" on the scale. Cardio runs off the fat, resistance training speeds up the metabolism and burns calories. Stick with it; eventually your body will cooperate. Unfortunately, until that time the scale will play mind games with you....dont let it win.

4) What is juicing?

Juice cleanse is supposed to (in theory) clean your body of excess toxins that slow down weight loss. It primes your body for weight loss by ridding it of sodium etc. I am supposed to drink 32 oz over 2 days of the juice mixed with water, 8 glasses of water, 6 oz of protein and 2 cups veggies. It really sucks; but it works. You just have to be careful how you eat after the cleanse or the weight will come back. You also spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I am still on the fence about cleansing; but I am not against it.

Thanks for the comments!
