Thumbs up Low Fat Pita Pizza

This is a recipe for a low fat delicious pizza custom made to fit your needs.

Preheat oven 425
get a pack of Pita bread
Cut into triangle flat pieces (basically so it is not sandwich style anymore)
set aside

Marinara sauce:
3 ripe tomatos
one very small (approx 2 oz) tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sat
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. splenda (if wanted sweet taste)
*make sure you get all the skin off the fresh tomato*
~~mix all the above ingredients together in a bowl until saucy.

Toppings:
Grate 4 oz. low fat cheese (mozzarala and chedder)
Cut 1 green peper in to chunks long way
slice about 5 mushrooms
either already baked (2) chicken breast and cutinto small slices or 2 cans of precooked chicken
* you don not need to add all of these ingredients or you can even add other healty toppings of your own.

Spread the marinara sauce on the pita bread and add toppings as desired and if you are counting calories make sure you use the appropiate amout for each pita pizza.

Bake for 13-15 minutes or until cheese in golden brown
and I top mine with fresh sliced tomatos.

This is a simple recipe that even the kids can enjoy
The other good thing about this recipe is you can modify it to your taste buds.
