Mmm-- snocones. We have Tropical snow here. They have the best flavors, and awesome combinations. They really are good, espeically on a hot day. At least they have no fat right?? It's basically just sugar water. I know they aren't healthy, but probably much healthier that ice cream.
Like you, I try to eat normal things, with maybe slight moderations. I simply can't fix 2 seperate meals-- 1 for me, and 1 for the rest of my family. So, I try to make it a little healthier all around. Yesterday for example, my husband wanted grilled pork burgers. I used to like them, but they are so greasy, they really have lost their appeal. So I grilled myself some chicken tenders, and him the pork burgers. Funny thing way, he wanted the chicken too. ( I had grilled enough for 2 servings)
I guess I'm glad that some things really don't appeal to me anymore. It makes me think that some of these things are starting to stick, and become a part of me, and I won't always have to think about it so much anymore. I'll naturally want the lower fat, healthier food.
I dont' think I"ll ever feel that way about chocolate though! Too bad, huh!
Again-- thank goodness for those fudge pops!
