Can we protect our hearts, lower our cholesterol still use a weight loss program and eat chocolate. Yes, remember not all chocolate is the same.

Eating dark chocolate may cut heart attacks, strokes and help with weight loss by 6%.

Look for the purest dark chocolate you can possibly find. Dark chocolate that contains at least 60 percent cocoa solids is the best. The difference between dark chocolate milk chocolate or white chocolate is that milk chocolate has fewer flavonoids and white chocolate has almost none.

As someone rather overweight and making lifetyle changes, rather than dieting, I’m always interested in new ideas. I cannot see dark chocolate as being such a catalyst for weight loss as say cutting carbs. And whats with the popcorn?! But its worth a try.

I think that name “chocolate diet” is the face. Dark chocolate has been enjoyed by slim Europeans for decades now. The plan you describe above is simply a sensible diet that one should aim for on a regular base.

Eating real foods and avoiding fast foods and process foods leaves room for good quality treats like dark chocolate.

Now, I’m not too sure about the popcorn chocolate or pasta chocolate. I’ve heard that in Naples they serve pizza chocolate as well. I think these types of concoctions are no longer considered “healthy treat choices”.

When it comes to dieting - the best thing to do is avoid dieting and welcome eating healthy (and being active)!

This is a great article!
