Cabbage Soup Diet - Lose Weight Fast

Posted on 19 September 2007 by aaron_nimocks

So What is Cabbage Soup Diet? It is basically eating soup instead of normal food and cut huge calories for a week. The Cabbage Soup diet is a fast way to loss weight within a week, which you just eat as much cabbage soup and water as you can but nothing else. It is only for short term way to loss some weight. However, you will not have much calories to burn, therefore, you might get tired easily.
What is Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe and Plan?

The Cabbage Soup Diet is same as principle of negative calories diet which you have to eat foods that will burn more calories than they are worth. The Cabbage Soup Diet’s plan is, obviously, cabbage soup containing onions, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, V8 juice and water. You can eat as much of cabbage soup for seven days and you could have fruits in day 1, vegetables in day 2, fruits and Vegi in day 3, bananas in day4, beef in day 5, Beef and Vegi in Day 6, and brown rice in Day 7. Just remember, no potato, any high carb foods.
Well, the cabbage soup diet plan should work if you keep the 7 days diet plan, however, not recommended for long term. I might try every other day and have normal food with calories calculated to extend plan to two weeks instead of 7 days diet plan. Final word is just keep watch what you are eating and consume less calories and burn more calories which will better for in long terms.

Personal Note: If you’re SERIOUS about losing weight, I would URGE you to check out a brand new concept I just found out about :

Fat Loss Dummy Guide. Let’s Loss some Weight.

Posted on 06 September 2007 by aaron_nimocks

FatLoss4Idiots was created as an easy way for people to learn about the latest dieting and weight loss information, and to succeed.

This entire program is focused on giving dieters a NON starvation type of weight loss program, a diet which is NOT focused on starving the body of calories or carbs — because starvation diets do not work and will only make you miserable, leaving you feeling weak and lethargic all day.

Weight Loss Facts:

Low Fat Foods DON’T WORK.

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON’T WORK.

You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt — known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON’T WORK.

You’ll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

What about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig Dieting Plans?

Weight loss programs such as Weight Watchers (and Jenny Craig) usually involve slower dieting progress over a longer period of time, since such programs generally promise only 2-3 pounds of weight loss per week. Also, programs such as Jenny Craig usually involve buying special meals and/or dietary supplements during the initial phases of the program. While some people may like these types of dietary programs, we prefer a dieting plan which focuses on faster weight loss, such as the Accelerated Fat Burning Program shown below…
Try our New ACCELERATED Fat Burning Diet right here

FatLoss 4 Idiots is all about giving new and cutting edge dietary information, to show you a new way of dieting which is different from what you’ve seen before. If you follow the dieting advice on this site then you’ll go beyond traditional diets — and into the future of smart weight loss.

You are overweight for the most simple of reasons — because you’re eating the wrong foods, the wrong types of calories per meal, and you’re also eating meals in the wrong patterns each day.

Think closely about what we’re about to tell you, since it’s going to change the way you think about dieting…

FOOD is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills, because the FOOD that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT. You don’t get fat because of a lack of exercising, that’s a myth. You get fat because you don’t eat the right foods at the right intervals each day.

Also, the pattern that you choose to eat your meals each day is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills. This is true because your body is like an “engine” and it only needs certain foods at certain intervals each day, and if you don’t eat the right foods at the right times then it won’t burn those calories — and you’ll wind up storing those calories as fat tissue. (Hint: You need to eat more than 3 times per day to lose weight).

You have gotten overweight by eating the wrong foods, that much is a fact. And guess what? You can get SLIM by eating the RIGHT FOODS at the RIGHT INTERVALS each day.

It’s not really any more complicated than that, and the way to start losing weight has nothing to do with starving yourself or jogging.

This entire program is dedicated to providing dieters with new and friendly dieting techniques, which allow them to lose weight faster than normal.

Try Our New ON-LINE DIET GENERATOR!

We’ve created an online diet generator which automatically computes everything for you in just seconds, and it gives you the right daily menu each day so that you don’t have to calculate anything while shifting your calories.

This new diet is called the IDIOT PROOF DIET.

Green Tea Diet - Loss Weight by Drinking Green Tea

Posted on 06 September 2007 by aaron_nimocks

In recent studies, consuming green tea on a daily basis has shown to promote weight-loss. Now that doesn’t mean if you drink 10 glasses of green tea a day, you’ll be 100lbs lighter by the end of the week. It doesn’t happen like that. Burning fat and losing weight takes a multitude of factors towards reaching your goals. These factors include your exercise routine, diet, sleeping patterns, etc etc. All these factors come together, but within this article I will tell you how green tea can be beneficial towards your weight-loss goals and also tell you why it should be included in your diet.If you’re a big tea drinker like myself, you should know that green tea has several fat and caloric burning characteristics. With these characteristics, green tea contains the following compounds: Theanine, Catechins, Flavonoids, and Tannins. All of which contain anti-oxidant and medicinal properties. These anti-oxidant properties are able to prevent certain cancers. Green tea also contains epigallocatechin gallate (ECCG). You may have seen the abbreviation ECCG on a few bottled products, and if you’ve been wondering what it is…Basically ECCG has been known to act as an appetite suppressant. With this, it’ll help you crave less for certain foods you desire most and help you lose weight at the same time. The consumption of green tea will also speed up your metabolic rate for burning calories. And as some of you may know, the more calories that are burned the better! Green tea is also known to burn a certain harmful fat called visceral fat which is linked to diabetes.

There’s also a group of polyphenols called Catechins that green tea extract contains. The ingesting of Catechins will help lower body fat and also decrease cholesterol levels. In scientific studies, it’s been researched that the consumption of green tea will actually prevent from fat cells enlarging and multiplying. Thus, another reason why you should drink green tea. And as another weight-loss benefit, one cup of green tea usually only contains about four calories and is a great alternative to coffee as green tea also contains caffeine. From time to time, try to slow down on the coffee intake and replace it with a cup of tea. A cup of green tea will have more healthy benefits from consumption compared to coffee. As coffee will contain an unnecessary amount of sugars and calories that will only slow down your progression of losing weight.

As you’ve read, green tea has proven itself to have many weight-loss characteristics and as well as a couple other health benefits. If you’re wanting to start drinking more green tea, I would recommend you brewing it yourself. Because I have yet to find a bottled product that does not contain a high amount of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). And by brewing it yourself, you can avoid consuming an unnecessary amount of sugars. Thank you for giving the time to read this article, and I hope you take it highly into consideration of including green tea to your diet!

What is 3 Day Diet?

Posted on 22 August 2007 by aaron_nimocks

Surprisingly surviving the test of time, the 3 Day Diet is another fad diet, dating back to 1985. Copies of the “3 Day Diet” continue to float around cyberspace, promising quick weight loss, cleansing, lower cholesterol, and increased energy. However, no diet book exists to substantiate the science behind the “unique metabolic reaction.”

Healthy South Beach Diet

Often mistakenly called The Cleveland Clinic Diet, the 3 Day Diet is a regimented plan that must be followed exactly for three days at a time, followed by normal eating for four or five days before opting to resume the plan again.

Followers of the 3 Day Diet are promised up to a 10 pound weight loss in three days, although realistically, most of that weight is likely due to fluid loss and not the more desirable fat loss. To achieve the proposed loss, exercise is not mentioned in the plan.

What You Can Eat

The 3 Day Diet is a very specific food plan that must be followed precisely. Portions must be eaten exactly as specified and dieters are warned not to overeat — otherwise the promised 10 pound weight loss may not be achieved. Likewise, dieters should not under-eat, even if they are not hungry. The detailed plan does not mention or recommend any exercise.

The 3 Day Diet meal plan:

Day 1

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1/2 grapefruit or juice

1 piece toast with 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Lunch

1/2 cup tuna

1 piece toast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

Dinner

3 ounces any lean meat or chicken

1 cup green beans

1 cup carrots

1 apple

1 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 2

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1 egg

1/2 banana

1 piece toast

Lunch

1 cup cottage cheese or tuna

8 regular saltine crackers

Dinner

2 beef franks

1 cup broccoli or cabbage

1/2 cup carrots

1/2 banana

1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 3

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

5 regular saltine crackers

1 ounce cheddar cheese

1 apple

Lunch

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1 boiled egg

1 piece toast

Dinner

1 cup tuna

1 cup carrots

1 cup cauliflower

1 cup melon

1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

In addition to its strict daily food prescription, dieters drink 4 cups of water or noncaloric drinks daily.

How It Works

By some unspecified magical force, the combination of the suggested foods included in this plan is supposed to create a unique metabolic reaction and boost fat burning.

Without an author or book, there is no documentation or explanation of how the 3 Day Diet food combinations burn fat, increase energy, cleanse the body, or lower cholesterol.

As the name suggests, the 3 Day Diet lasts only three days, though it’s said that it can be repeated indefinitely, as long as you alternate with 4-5 days of undefined “normal eating.” The purpose of returning to your usual eating style is to keep your metabolism from slowing, reverting to fat-storing, starvation mode.

Weight Loss Plan: The Goal to Go For

Posted on 18 August 2007 by aaron_nimocks

If you want to have success diet, you need diet plan and follow your plan.

But what should be your long-term goal? And what short-term goals should you set to help you get there? You have a better chance of attaining your goals if you make sure that the weight loss plans that you will use are sensible and reasonable right at the beginning.

Here are some guidelines from the experts in choosing weight loss plans and goals.

1. Be realistic

Most people’s long-term weight loss plans are more ambitious than they have to be.

For example, if you weigh 170 pounds and your long-term plan is to weigh 120, even if you have not weighed 120 since you were 16 and now you are 45, that is not a realistic weight loss goal.

Your body mass index or BMI is a good indicator of whether or not you need to shed of pounds. The ideal BMI range, according to the national Institutes of Health, is between 19 and 24.9. If your BMI is between 25 and 29.9, you are considered overweight. Any number above 30 is in the obesity range.

From this point of view, you will need a sensible weight loss plan that will correspond to the required BMI based on your height, because this is the primary factor that will affect your BMI.

2. Set appropriate objectives

Using a weight loss plan just for vanity’s sake is psychologically less helpful than losing weight to improve health.

You have made a big step forward if you decide to undergo a weight loss plan that includes exercise and eating right so that you will feel better and have more energy to do something positive in your life.

3. Focus on doing, not losing

Rather than saying that you are going to lose a pound this week, say how much you are going to exercise this week. This would definitely make up of a sensible weight loss plan.

Keep in mind that your weight within a span of a week is not completely in your control, but your behavior is.

4. Build bit by bit

Short-term weight loss plans should not be “pie-in-the-sky.” This means that when you have never exercised at all, your best weight loss plan for this week should be based on finding three different one-mile routes that you can walk next week.

5. Keep up the self-encouragement

An all-or-nothing attitude only sets you up to fail. Learn to evaluate your efforts fairly and objectively. If you fall short of some goals, just look ahead to next week. You do not need to have a perfect record.

After all, self-encouragement should definitely be a part of your weight loss plans. Otherwise, you will just fail in the end.

6. Use measurable measures

Saying that you are going to be more positive this week or that you are going to really get serious this week is not a goal that you can measure and should not be a part of your weight loss plan.

This is another reason why you should incorporate exercise on your weight loss plan and focus on it. You should be able to count up the minutes of exercise in order to be successful in your plan.

The bottom line is, you should make weight loss plans that will only remain as it is, just a plan.

So what is Alli?

Posted on 26 June 2007 by aaron_nimocks

“Alli” is the new diet pill everyone talks about in America. On June 15, Alli became the first FDA-approved diet pill that’s available without a prescription. Despite its high price tag - $49-$59, uncomfortable side effects, and small potential benefits, it’s been flying off the shelves Dieters are eager to try Alli(I bought one myself).

What is Alli?
Alli is a less potent version of the prescription diet pill, Xenical (orlistat). At half the dosage of the prescription version, experts feel that its potential for abuse and overall risk is low enough to be safe for over-the-counter use. You can expect to pay between $50 and $60 for a 30-day supply of Alli, which can be bought in supermarkets, drug stores, and Costco.

How Does Alli Work?
Put simply, Alli is a fat-blocker. You take a pill with each meal. The main ingredient in the pill binds with the digestive enzymes that would normally break down fat from the meal that you consumed. But because Alli attaches to these enzymes, it prevents them from digesting about 1/4 of the fat you just ate, allowing it to pass through the digestive system and out of the body, undigested and unabsorbed. Overall, fewer calories from dietary fat are stored as actual body fat. And I can see Fat is coming out from mybody.

Studies conducted by the company show that when using the Alli program (pills, diet and exercise) correctly, individuals can lose up to 50% more weight than dieting alone.

But remember, Alli is low fat diet meaning You need to Watch your meal(low fat, low carb) with exercising regularly. It will help yourbody not to take much fat so body can burn bodyfat. If you want to loss weight fast, this is not for you and Nobody will not recommend loss weight fast anyway.
