Bob Greene Diet

The Best Life Diet, or what some call the Bob Greene Diet, has got to be one of the most efficient methods to help you lose those extra pounds. Not only will you lose weight but you will also learn how to maintain healthy eating habits long after you have completed the main phases of this plan. Bob Greene, one of today’s most recognized exercise physiologists has developed the Best Life Diet to make America’s increasing obesity problem slowly disappear. Bob Greene has authored several books and is the personal trainer of none other than Oprah Winfrey. In his book, The Best Life Diet, Bob Greene tells us about the importance of increasing our activity level while reducing the intake of foods with little or no nutritional value. He points out that the Bob Greene Diet may be accomplished in as little as twelve consecutive weeks.
The Best Life program is comprised of three phases with a minimum of four weeks per phase.
The first phase centers on slowly increasing your activity level and eating three meals and a snack per day. Eating breakfast is a must because this boosts your metabolism for the rest of the day. And, you shouldn’t eat within two hours before bedtime. Also, you should drink one glass of water for every meal. If you’ve noticed that you have been losing some weight, you should stick to this phase. If you’ve noticed no change, you should proceed to the next phase.
In phase two, you should eliminate six less-healthy foods while eating foods with less fat in them. You should stop eating sweets and soft drinks, fried foods, ordinary pasta, and high-fat dairy products. Once again, you must increase your level of activity. You must also weigh yourself once in a week’s time.
The third phase is the last part of the Bob Greene Diet. This is your life after completing the most important steps of your weight loss plan. All you have to do now is maintain your current weight. You should still avoid “bad†foods but you could sneak a bite of your favorite foods such as sweets but in a controlled amount. And that’s it! May you enjoy the transformation of your life!
